How to Enable Black Bars in CS2: A Simple Guide

Many CS2 players struggle with enabling black bars, but I've found a straightforward solution. The CS2 black bars issue is common, especially for those transitioning from CS:GO. Here's how I fixed it:

For NVIDIA users:

  1. Open CS2 settings and set Aspect Ratio to 4:3
  2. Choose your preferred resolution
  3. Open NVIDIA Control Panel
  4. Under Display, select "Adjust desktop size and position"
  5. Set scaling mode to "Aspect ratio"
  6. Check "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs"
  7. Apply changes

For AMD users:

  1. Follow steps 1-2 from NVIDIA guide
  2. Open AMD Adrenalin panel
  3. Add CS2 to your games list
  4. Set Scaling Mode to "Preserve aspect ratio"

If you prefer stretched resolution, choose "Full-screen" (NVIDIA) or "Full panel" (AMD) instead.

Remember to restart CS2 after making changes. With these steps, you should be able to enjoy CS2 with your preferred display settings.

While you're adjusting your settings, why not take a break and check out some CSGO gambling for a chance at some cool skins?
