CS2 Weekly Care Package: Everything You Need to Know

CS2's weekly care package is a reward system that keeps players coming back for more. As someone who's spent countless hours grinding in Counter-Strike 2, I've learned the ins and outs of this system. Let's break it down.

Every Wednesday, the weekly care package resets. To earn one, you need to level up by gaining 5,000 XP. When you do, you'll get to choose two rewards from four options: cases, skins, or graffiti sprays.

Here's what you should know about XP:

  • You get a 4x XP bonus for your first 4,500 XP each week.
  • From 4,500 to 7,500 XP, you get a 2x bonus.
  • From 7,500 to 11,167 XP, you earn normal XP.
  • After 11,167 XP, you only earn 0.175% of normal XP until Wednesday.

This system encourages regular play without allowing for excessive grinding.

When it comes to skins in the care package, the odds are:

  • Consumer grade: ~80%
  • Industrial grade: ~16%
  • Mil-spec: 3.2%
  • Restricted: 0.64%
  • Classified: 0.128%

There are no Covert skins in the current drop pool.

At level 40, you can "prestige" to earn a service medal, resetting to level 1. You can upgrade this medal's color up to five times each year.

Remember, cases are usually the most valuable reward, so choose wisely. The cs2 weekly care package system might seem complex, but it's designed to keep the game fresh and rewarding for dedicated players.
