Dead Hand Collection Update

Valve released the Dead Hand Collection on March 11, 2026, bringing 17 new weapon skins and 22 new gloves. New glove finishes haven't been added to CS2 since Operation Broken Fang in December 2020, making the Dead Hand Collection gloves the first new rare special items in over five years.

Noteworthy Additions

Link
  • AWP | Queen's Gambit (Covert): Chess-themed finish on the AWP. The Covert most likely to anchor early market pricing for the collection.
  • Glock-18 | Fully Tuned (Covert): A Covert finish on the most-used T-side pistol in the game.
  • AK-47 | Crane Flight (Classified): Crane motif in a visual direction the AK library hasn't had before. Initial demand will be strong.
  • P90 | Deathgaze (Classified): Classified SMG skins are uncommon. This one will get attention at that tier.
  • P250 | Kintsugi (Classified): Gold lacquer repair aesthetic. Interesting concept for a Classified pistol skin.
  • Desert Eagle | Firebreathing (Restricted): Restricted Deagle skins tend to move consistently given how often the weapon gets used.
  • M4A1-S | Electrum (Restricted): Clean CT rifle option for a weapon with a large playerbase.
  • MP9 | Urban Sovereign (Restricted): Restricted finish on a common CT force-buy weapon.
  • Galil AR | Galigator (Restricted): One of the few notable Galil skins added in recent memory.
  • MP7 | Amberline (Restricted): Warm palette, clean finish. Reasonable pricing expected once the launch week settles.

The Mil-Spec tier includes the PP-Bizon | RMX, USP-S | Silent Shot, Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer, Sawed-Off | Fusion, UMP-45 | Fragment, M4A4 | Zubastick, and M249 | Bock Blocks.
