How to Fast Forward CS2 Replays: Quick and Easy Methods

I've found many ways to fast forward CS2 replays, and I'll share them all with you. It's actually pretty simple once you know how.

First, the easiest method is to press Shift + F2 to open the replay console. This gives you options to speed up the replay to 2x, 4x, or even 8x the normal speed. Just click the button for the speed you want.

If you prefer using console commands, that's an option too. Press the '~' key to open the console, then type 'demo_timescale' followed by a number. For example, 'demo_timescale 2' will play the replay at double speed.

Another trick I use is the demoui controller. Open the console with the '~' key, type 'demoui', and hit Enter. This brings up a control panel on the left side of your screen with buttons for 2x and 4x speed.

Don't worry if you go too fast - you can always rewind by clicking the < button on the controller. Or use the |< button to jump back to the start of the match.

Lastly, there's a slider you can use to quickly move forward or backward in the replay. It's super handy for finding specific moments.

With these methods, you'll know how to fast forward CS2 replays. Try them out and see which one works best for you!
