How to Enable Netgraph in CS2

As a Counter-Strike player, I've always used netgraph to monitor my game performance.

With the move to CS2 many of us were left wondering how to get this feature back. I've done the research and experimentation and I'm here to share everything I've learned about netgraph in CS2.

First off, forget about the old console commands you used in CSGO. The developers have changed things up in CS2 and the old net_graph command no longer works. But don't worry I've got you covered with all the new ways to get your performance data.

Let's start with the easiest and most comprehensive way.

CS2 now has netgraph-like features built in to the game settings. Here's how to enable it:

  1. Click the settings wheel in the game menu
  2. Go to Game > Telemetry
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  4. Under Telemetry set "Show frame time and FPS" and "Show ping" to "Always"
  5. If you want to monitor packet loss also set "Show packet loss/misdelivery" to "Always"

This will show your FPS, ping and packet loss on your screen during gameplay. Simple and effective and no console commands required.

Now if you want something more like the old netgraph there's a console command you can try: cq_netgraph 1. This will show a graph in the top right of your screen. Note: this only works in matches and won't show in the menu.

If you just want to see your FPS you can use the command cs_showfps 1. This will show a long bar at the top of the screen with FPS info. Not as comprehensive as the old netgraph but gets the job done if FPS is your main concern.

Whether you're troubleshooting performance issues or just like to keep an eye on your stats, these should cover all your netgraph needs in CS2. CS2 is still a work in progress and the developers may add more options or change things in future updates.
