What is ADR in CS2? A Simple Guide to Average Damage per Round

In Counter-Strike 2, ADR stands for Average Damage per Round. It's a key stat that shows how much damage you're inflicting on average in each round.

Let's break it down.

ADR is calculated by dividing your total damage dealt by the number of rounds played. For example, if you deal 1600 damage over 20 rounds, your ADR is 80.

Why is ADR important? It gives a clearer picture of your contribution than just kills. You might not get the final blow, but your damage could set up your teammates for success.

How to check your ADR in CS2:

  • End game screen: After a match, look at your player card. ADR is displayed at the top.
  • In-game scoreboard: Press TAB, right-click, and select the graph icon to see real-time ADR.

Want to boost your ADR? Here are some tips:

  • Work on your aim and spray control
  • Use grenades and molotovs effectively
  • Play aggressively (but smartly)
  • Survive longer to deal more damage

Remember, while ADR is useful, it's not everything. Supporting your team with smokes and flashes is valuable too, even if it doesn't show up in your ADR.

A good ADR in CS2 is generally considered to be between 70-80. Anything above 80 is great, and over 95 is exceptional.

But don't stress too much about the numbers – focus on improving your overall gameplay and the stats will follow.

By understanding what ADR CS2 means and how to improve it, you're on your way to becoming a more effective player. Keep practicing, and watch that ADR climb!
