Can You Gift Prime in CS2? Here's What You Need to Know
As a CS2 player, you might be wondering if you can gift Prime to your friends.
Unfortunately, you can no longer gift Prime in CS2. Steam removed this feature because of abuse, mainly by cheaters creating multiple accounts with Prime.
You can't gift Prime directly but there are other ways to help your friends get Prime:
- Buy a Steam gift card and send it to your friend.
- Give them money to buy Prime.
Note: You can't transfer Steam wallet funds between accounts. Best option is to use gift cards or direct monetary gifts outside of Steam.
In the past gifting Prime was a simple process. You buy Prime Status, go to the Steam store page, click "Purchase as a gift", and select a friend from your list. But this feature is removed to prevent abuse.
